Terence Bruyn, Managing Director
Terence is a Managing Director of The Silverfern Group and brings
over 20 years of international business management and investment
experience in the Technology, Media and TeleCommunications sectors
to the Silverfern team.
Prior to joining Silverfern, Terence was Co-Founder and Partner of
The Spark Investments, a Dutch advisory and investment boutique focused
on middle market M&A transactions, before which he was Founder
and CEO of TDM Group NV, one of Europe’s leading systems integrators.
Having grown TDM from inception into a publicly listed company, Terence
has extensive experience in growing businesses internationally based
on Buy and Build strategies. Prior to TDM, Terence co-founded and
led various software/internet firms.
Terence is very familiar with all managerial and financing aspects
of acquiring, merging and investing in privately and family-owned
businesses, allowing them to grow faster and more profitably than
they could on their own. Terence has held numerous operational roles
in the Information Technology fields, including as a Board Member
of IBM in the Netherlands. He is a former member of the Advisory
Board of ABNAMRO Netherlands.
Based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Terence co-leads Silverfern’s
merchant banking business in Europe with responsibility for originating
proprietary investment opportunities for Silverfern’s investment
partners, in addition to interfacing with senior CEOs, company founders
and owners on the Silverfern Advisory Board.
Terence earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the
Harvard Business School, and his LL.M in Corporate Law and his Bachelor
of Law from the University of Leiden, the Netherlands. He is fluent
in four languages: Dutch, English, French and German. |
