Brett D. Chenoweth, Managing Director
Brett is a Managing Director of The Silverfern Group and Head of Silverfern Australia. He brings over 15 years of senior executive experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, Strategy, Investment Management and Operations (including CEO, Board and Chairman roles) to the Silverfern Team. Brett’s primary areas of expertise include the Media, Technology, Telecommunications, Digital Media, Entertainment and Leisure industries.
Prior to joining Silverfern, Brett was the Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Cesura Partners, a boutique direct investment business in Australia. Prior to Cesura, Brett was a senior executive at Telecom New Zealand where he was Head of Mergers and Acquisitions and Head of Strategy for the Telecom New Zealand group. Before Telecom New Zealand, Brett worked with Publishing and Broadcasting Limited as Head of Business Development for ecorp Ltd, PBL’s publically listed internet investment company which negotiated and operated joint ventures with eBay, Charles Schwab, Microsoft and Monster. Brett previously held senior executive roles at Village Roadshow Pictures and ninemsn Pty Ltd.
Brett has served as Chairman or Company Director on a number of private, unlisted public and listed public company boards in Australia and is currently an Independent Director of Living and Leisure Australia Limited, a publically listed Australian company operating ski resort, aquarium and leisure assets in Australia and Asia. Brett earned his Bachelor of Economics degree and Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Queensland, and his Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia. |
