Reeta Kapani, Managing Director
Reeta is a Managing Director of The Silverfern Group and is Head of The Silverfern Advisory Board, and Head of the firm’s Private Funds Group. She brings over 15 years of senior institutional capital raising experience to the Silverfern team. In addition to interfacing with The Silverfern Advisory Board’s executive managers, Reeta’s role includes capital raising for Silverfern affiliates Silverfern Co-Investment PartnersTM and the Silverfern Credit Opportunities Fund.
Prior to joining Silverfern, Reeta was a senior advisor to Soros Funds Management with a specific focus on capital raising for their private equity business. Prior to Soros, Reeta spent six years in investment banking on Wall Street, most recently with the Blackstone Group in New York, where as a member of the Blackstone Principal Group she focused on capital raising and investor relations across the Blackstone family of funds. Before Blackstone, Reeta was in the Merchant Banking Group with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Inc. in New York, prior to which she was in the Private Equity Group for Merrill Lynch & Co., also in New York.
Reeta is a General Partner of Silverfern affiliates Silverfern Co-Investment PartnersTM and the Silverfern Credit Opportunities Fund. She earned her Master of Business Administration degree from The Anderson School at UCLA, and her Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from Georgetown University.
