Antonio A. Memmo, Managing Director
Tony is a Managing Director of The Silverfern Group and brings over 15 years of M&A, corporate restructuring and financing experience to the Silverfern team. Tony has provided financial advice to companies across various industries including natural resources, transportation and health care.
Prior to joining Silverfern, Tony was a member of the Natural Resources Group at Banc of America Securities where he focused primarily on companies in the power and utility sector. From 2005 - 2007, Tony advised on a wide variety of transactions totaling over $24 billion, including sell-side and buy-side M&A assignments, leveraged finance, high yield/high grade debt offerings, private placements, common equity and hybrid securities issuances.
Prior to Banc of America Securities, Tony was a member of the Investment Banking Group at Lazard Fréres & Co. where he advised U.S. and European clients on M&A and corporate restructuring assignments. Until 2005, Tony was a member of the firm’s Power and Utility Group which he helped found in 1997. From 1990-1997, Tony was a generalist banker in Lazard’s M&A and Structured Finance Groups.
Tony earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago and his Bachelor of Science - Finance and Bachelor of Arts - Italian degrees from the Pennsylvania State University. |
